Wood is soft. Too much pressure raises and splinters the grain, leaves wand marks you can see from across the yard, and can gouge the boards. That damage doesn't wash back out.

Will pressure washing damage my deck?
It can if it's done with too much pressure — that's what causes furry, splintered boards. We clean wood at low pressure for exactly that reason.
When can I stain after it's cleaned?
Once the wood is completely dry. Wood holds water after a wash, and stain put over damp wood doesn't soak in properly. How long that takes depends on the weather and the wood, so ask on the day.
Do you clean vinyl fences too?
Yes. Vinyl fencing picks up the same green growth as wood and cleans up easily.
Is it safe for a kids' playset?
